ハイペップ研究所（京都市上京区）の軒原清史代表が2016年8月に設立したピプルス・ファーマ（PIPLS Pharma Inc.）は、GMP製造工場を建設する予定地を確定したと、2016年11月15日に発表した。ピプルスは、ハイペップ研究所の創薬関連の基礎研究成果の実用化を進める創薬ベンチャーで、ペプチド誘導体やペプチドコンジュゲート治療用原薬のGMP製造の事業化を計画している。
