食品科学工学会、8月末の公開シンポで「ゲノム編集」

国際食品科学工学連合日本支部（IUFoST-Japan）の公開シンポジウムで、初めて「ゲノム編集」が取り上げられる。名城大学で開催される日本食品科学工学会第63回大会で2016年8月26日、「先端バイオテクノロジーを用いた農産物の機能開発」をテーマとしたシンポジウムが開催され、4講演のうち3講演の演題名に「ゲノム編集」がある。最初にIUFoST-Japanの専務理事を務める実践女子大学の田島眞学長があいさつし、最後に世話人3人のうちの1人である京都大学大学院の松村康生教授が総括する。
