欧州臨床腫瘍学会（ESMO）プレス・オフィスは、4月17日、黒色腫の治療に多く使用されているBRAF阻害薬により、BRAF遺伝子変異を有する肺癌患者で臨床的に重要な有用性が得られる可能性が示されたと発表した。レトロスペクティブなEURAFコホート研究から明らかになったもので、4月15日から18日までスイス・ジュネーブで開催されているESMO-IASLC（国際肺癌学会）第5回欧州肺癌学会議（ELCC2015）で、スイスLucern Cantonal HospitalのOliver Gautschi氏によって発表された。
