2015年1月7日、米食品医薬品局（FDA）の諮問委員会は、14対0でドイツSandoz社のG-CSF製剤EP2006の承認を推奨した。EP2006は「Neupogen」（フィルグラスチム）を先発品とするバイオ後続品（バイオシミラー）である。

本日も我が国の再生医療のアキレス腱の議論です。また、これは我が国の創薬研究の頸木にもなっています。ヒトの生体試料の流通をどう公正に行うのか？ 別の言葉で言えば、再生医療の本流となる他家細胞製品の原料をどう確保するのか？ という問題です。今までは、表向きはNPOなどがボランティアから採取したヒト細胞や組織採取を海外からの輸入という手段で今までは細々とクリアしてきましたが、質の担保も難しく、流通経路に不明朗な点も残っています。できれば、日本人の細胞や組織を、我が国の再生医療の原料とするのが好ましい。再生医療を推進する厚生労働省ですら今まで手をつけてこなかったこの問題に、経済産業省が果敢にチャレンジし始めました。
