第8回Antioxidant Unit（AOU）研究会が2014年11月26日、虎ノ門ヒルズ・メインホール（東京・港区）で開かれ、企業の研究者や分析担当者ら約230人が集まり、会場は満席だった。今回は初めての試みとして、若手研究者が登壇した。健康食品や農林水産物の機能性表示を視野に、抗酸化指標の分析法の確立にむけた進捗状況と、最新の抗酸化研究の成果が発表された。意見交換会では常任理事で生命科学振興会の渡邊昌理事長と、理事の東京大学大学院農学生命科学研究科の阿部啓子特任教授があいさつした。
