アサヒ飲料は、消費者庁の表示許可を取得して食品の健康機能を表示する特定保健用食品（トクホ）飲料4商品のうち3商品を相次ぎ、2014年9月にリニューアルした。食後血糖値対策の炭酸飲料「三ツ矢サイダー プラス」は9月16日にリニューアル発売した。食後血糖と食後血中中性脂肪のW対策の「アサヒ 食事と一緒に十六茶W」は9月中旬からリニューアル発売した。整腸作用の炭酸飲料「ファイバー7500」は9月上旬からリニューアル発売した。3商品とも、日本人間ドック健診協会の推薦マークを表示に加えた。

米海軍省、米エネルギー省（DOE）、および米農務省（USDA）は2014年9月19日、オバマ大統領より2011年に出された指令に基づき、軍や民間部門の輸送用燃料ニーズを満たすドロップイン・バイオ燃料を生産するバイオリファイナリーを建設し稼動を委託する契約を3社に与えたと発表した。ネバダ州、オレゴン州、およびメキシコ湾岸地域に建設されるバイオリファイナリーは、毎年総量で1億ガロンを越える軍事仕様の燃料を生産する。
