MTIメディアラボで、ソーシャルロボットの研究をしているシンシア・ブリジール(Cynthia Breazeal)准教授らが開発。
Jibo.comから499ドルで、クラウドファンディング Indiegogo で予約。
2015年末出荷予定。
IEEE Spectrumの記事 によれば、開発者バージョンはまた別でSDK付きで599ドル。
