大阪市で開かれた第14回日本抗加齢医学会（JAAM）総会で、初日の2014年6月6日夕方にポスターセッションの発表・討論が行われ、19セッションそれぞれで座長が選んだ優秀ポスター賞の表彰が、最終日6月8日の閉会式・表彰式で行われた。

2014年6月6日から8日まで大阪市で開かれた第14回日本抗加齢医学会（JAAM）総会で、スペシャルプログラム「機能性表示健康食品を考える：科学的根拠の評価に向けて!」が同一会場で3日間連続して開催され、11時間にわたり発表と討議が行われた。第14回JAAM総会会長の大阪大学大学院医学系研究科臨床遺伝子治療学の森下竜一寄付講座教授の肝いりのプログラム。健康食品産業を束ねる業界団体である健康食品産業協議会が共催した。プログラム・抄録集には、このプログラムで機能性を発表する企業と素材は記載されなかった。どの素材のどの機能を発表するか、ぎりぎりまで各企業が検討を重ねたためという。記事後半に、発表された24社31素材36発表を掲載する。発表数が最も多い3だったのは、ユニアルと太陽化学の2社だ。
