Verdezyne社、マレーシアの財閥らから4800万ドルを調達

米Verdezyne社は2014年4月28日、マレーシアの多国籍コングロマリットSime Darby Berhad社と既存投資家から総額で4800万ドルの資金を調達したと発表した。この調印式はKuala Lumpurで執り行われ、マレーシア訪問中であった米Barack Obama大統領とマレーシアのNajib Razak首相が参列、Verdezyne社の社長兼CEOのWilliam Radany氏とSime Darby Berhad社の最高経営責任者であるMohd Bakke Salleh氏が投資契約書に署名した。

さつき会奨学生第二期生 3人の受給者証書授与式が執り行われました！
今年は爽やかなさつき晴れが続きましたが、みなさまお元気に
お過ごしでいらっしゃいますか。
皆さまの暖かいご支援のおかげで、
3人のさつき会奨学生第二期生が誕生しました。
文Ｉ （大分県大分上野丘高等学校卒)、
文III （北海道立北海道旭川東高等学校卒）、
理II （群馬県立高崎女子高等学校卒）
先日5月19日（月）に駒場キャンパスの教養学部アドミニストレ
ーション棟３階会議室において、第二期生のさつき会奨学金受給
者証書の授与式が執り行われました。
大学側から長谷川壽一理事・副学長、江川雅子理事、山路一隆渉
外本部長、阿部正一教育・学生支援部長 他7名、さつき会側か
ら筑本知子代表幹事を含めて6名とさつき会奨学生第一期生3人
が出席して、賑やかな式となりました。
学生さんたちはそれぞれに、
・幅広い分野の講義のすばらしさ、知の挑戦、知の刺激を一番に
感じています。楽しく充実した4年間にしたいと思っています。
・教養学部後期課程に進学したいので、勉強を頑張りたいです。
・東大に行って、研究者になりたいと思ってきまし ...
