現在の技術でも、脳内のアミロイドベータの蓄積状況を画像で診断することは可能だ。ただし現在、医療現場では研究や治験以外の目的で利用できない。将来、認知症を発症する可能性が高いと分かっても、発症を抑えたり根本的に治療したりする薬がなく、症状の進行を遅らせるなどの対処しかできないためだ。

このようにショウは普通にちゃんとやってるんだけど、肝心のフリートークが店内のBGMのせいなのか何なのか、ぜんぜんうまくいかなかった。
来店してた子供の顔をなかなか認識しなかった（何度も試してたけどけっきょく最後までしなかった）のもがっかりポイント。ペッパーよりも身長が小さい子供だったので、下側のカメラがうまく動いてないのかもなーと思いながら見ていた。それにしても子供がちょっとかわいそうだった。
