昨日は、国際栄養食品協会（AIFN）が都内で開催した「2014年【日本の法規制 公開シンポジウム】機能性を標榜する健康食品の安全性及び品質の確保と管理に ついて」を取材しました。ちょうどオバマ大統領が国賓として来日中というタイ ミングのシンポジウムでした。 　この公開シンポジウムの基調討論の後で開催された記者会見で、在日米国商工 会議所（ACCJ）サプリメント委員会の委員長を務めている天ケ瀬晴信AIFN副理事 長が「健康食品の機能性表示に関する提言」を発表しました。

日健栄協の食品機能性評価事業、サラシアはB評価1項目、HACSはB評価2項目とC評価1項目  from 日経バイオテクONLINE  (2014-4-25 19:50)

日本健康・栄養食品協会（日健栄協、JHNFA）の学術情報部は2014年4月23日、2013年度に実施した食品の機能性評価事業の結果を発表した。2013年度は、申請があった2成分について機能性評価を行った。サラシア属植物普及協会が申請した「サラシア属植物抽出物」の機能性評価は、「食後血糖値上昇抑制」の評価項目で総合評価がBとなった。イングレディオン・ジャパンが申請した「ハイアミロースコーンスターチ（HACS）」の機能性評価は評価項目が3項目あり、総合評価はそれぞれ「食後血糖値上昇抑制」がB、「空腹時血糖値の維持」がB、「短鎖脂肪酸、特に酪酸の産生による腸の健康の維持、増進」がCだった。
