カイノスは2013年5月19日、2013年度の決算報告会を都内で開催した。同社の上地史朗社長（写真）は「血中カルニチン量の測定キットは2014年2月に体外診断用医薬品の承認を取得した。2014年度には保険適応を目指す」と述べた。同キットは、カイノスの新たな収益源になるようだ。

米Joule社は2014年5月15日、自社製品の「Sunflow-D」ディーゼル燃料と「Sunflow-J」ジェット燃料が、国際標準化・規格設定機関であるAmerican Society for Testing and Materials（ASTM：米試験・材料協会）のディーゼル燃料規格とジェット燃料規格をそれぞれ満たしていることが確認されたと発表した。これにより二酸化炭素を正味で排出しないこれら燃料製品の商業化が一歩前進したことになる。これらJoule社製品は燃料性能において定められている規格をすべて満たしており、さらにまた、ブレンドされた最終の燃料製品の品質も改善できることがテスト結果によって実証された。

Tweet ▼東京蚤の市に行ってみた。人が多過ぎ。街の骨董屋とかはガラガラなのに、見せ方違うだけでこんなに人が来るんだねえ。
▼そのほか、東大五月祭にも初めて行ってみた。模擬店をぶらぶらして「ロボットバー」などを見学。それにしても東京のイベントは、どこも人が多すぎるのが最大の問題だなあ。多すぎて見るのも買うのも大変すぎる。
