東大の児玉龍彦教授、がん治療プレターゲッティング法をFIRSTで開発、2月18日に特許出願

東京大学先端科学技術研究センターの児玉龍彦教授らは、スーパーコンピュータ活用の情報技術（IT）創薬により、全身にちらばった進行性がんの治療に役立つ新しいプレターゲティング法を開発した。都内で開かれている最先端研究開発支援プログラム（FIRST）の「FIRST EXPO 2014」で2014年2月28日に発表した。「2月18日に特許を出願した」と、FIRSTプログラム研究成果発表「難病バスターズ！」で児玉教授は話した。

愛媛新聞 ０系新幹線そっくり ＪＲ予土線観光列車公開
ＪＲ四国は２８日、改装作業が終わった初代新幹線０系似の観光列車「鉄道ホビートレイン」を香川県多度津町の同社多度津工場で報道陣に公開した。０系そっくりの団子鼻を付けた「なんちゃって新幹線」は３月１５日から予土線宇和島―窪川間を走行する。
さすがに地元媒体だけあって、ちゃんと紹介されてますね。
内部の様子も紹介されてます。
０系新幹線で使った座席も４つだけ備え付けられているとか。
あとは長椅子のようです。
車内にショーケースがあるのは以前の「海洋堂ホビートレイン」と同じですね。
ですが、肝心の問題についてふれてないと思うんですが……。
予土線の問題は、車両にトイレがついてないってことなんですよ。
江川崎駅でトイレ休憩がありますが、それ以外はありません。
どうもこの車両もトイレは付けられてないようです。
観光列車にしたいなら、せめてトイレくらいは設置して欲しいんですけど。

カナダQLT社は、2014年2月27日、経口11-シス-レチナール補充療法薬QLT091001を複数回投与したフェーズIb試験のデータの予備的な分析を行ったところ、遺伝性網膜疾患患者に視野の拡大と視力の改善が見られたと発表した。
