「2014 International Garlic Symposium」が2014年3月4日から6日に米国カリフォルニア州で開催され、22カ国から150人近くが参加した。議長を米国Harbor-UCLA Medical CenterのMatthew Budoff教授、副議長を米University of FloridaのSusan S.Percival教授が務めた。口頭発表17演題、ポスター発表15演題の中には、論文発表前の最新の研究成果を含む演題が10演題近く含まれていた。
