大正製薬は2014年1月21日、健康食品「大正DHA・EPA」を通信販売の大正製薬ダイレクトで発売した。ω3高度不飽和脂肪酸であるドコサヘキサエン酸(DHA)やエイコサペンタエン酸(EPA)のトリグリセリドを含む健康食品と、DHAやEPAのエチルエステルを成分とする医薬品の選択肢が増えてきた。
