米国立衛生研究所（NIH）は2013年12月2日、アルツハイマー病配列解析プロジェクト（ADSP）で得られた第一弾の遺伝子データ群を研究者たちに無料で公開したと発表した。ADSPは、アルツハイマー病の予防と有効な治療の実現に向けた研究を強化するという国家プログラムに基づき初めて実施されたプロジェクトの１つだ。
