食品安全委員会は2013年11月25日14時から開催する食品安全委員会（第495回）において、「組換えDNA技術応用食品及び添加物の安全性審査の手続（平成12年厚生省告示第233号）の改正について」の審議を開始する。厚生労働省が11月11日に開催した薬事・食品衛生審議会食品衛生分科会新開発食品調査部会における審議を経て、部会報告「代謝系に影響のない遺伝子組換え植物の掛け合わせ品種の取り扱いについて」を基にした改正について今週、厚労省が食品安全委員会に諮問した。食安委における審議は、遺伝子組換え食品等専門調査会で行われる見通しだ。
