| 次世代シークエンサーにおける偶発的所見の取扱いに関する現状を紹介 from 日経バイオテクONLINE (2013-6-29 10:00) |

次世代シーケンサーを用いた遺伝子解析研究では、研究当初に意図した目的の範囲を超えて見いだされる偶発的所見（Incidental Findings：IF）が増加することが予測される。2013年6月21日から23日まで川崎市産業振興会館で開催された第37回日本遺伝カウンセリング学会学術集会では、京都大学大学院医学研究科の土屋実央氏らが、IFの取り扱いに関する日米の現状を紹介した。

米Amyris社とフランスTotal社は2013年6月20日、パリ航空ショーで植物糖類由来の再生可能ジェット燃料を使用したデモンストレーションフライトに成功したと発表した。エアバス航空機を使ったヨーロッパで初めてのこのデモンストレーション飛行は、ASTM認証獲得に向けた両社のコミットメントを明確に示すものであるとしている。
