Tweet 動きは一見人間みたいだと感じてる人が多いようですが……。 ボストン・ダイナミクス が開発中の「PETMAN」は防護服のテスト用ロボット。 （PETMANは「Protection Ensemble Test Mannequin」の略）。 そのため、ロボット表面にガス漏れ検知センサーがあり、 また、ロボット自体に発汗や温度調節などの機能があって、 衣服内の微気象をコントロールできるようになってます。 この目的を考えると、この動き方はちょっとどうなのかなと思いました。 単純な話ですが、人間はこんなに脚を広げて歩いたりしません。 着地位置はほとんど一直線に並びます。 それに対してこのロボットはずいぶん左右に脚を広げて動いてます。 脚部の布の摩擦などは、動き方によってずいぶん違うはずです。 これでは十分にテストベッドととしての役割は果たせないのでは。
