JSTが再生医療実現拠点の募集開始、補正と当初予算の成立前提

科学技術振興機構（JST）は2013年2月1日、2013年度新規施策「再生医療実現拠点ネットワークプログラム」の「iPS細胞研究中核拠点」「疾患・組織別実用化研究拠点」「技術開発個別課題」について大学などからの提案募集を開始した。国際競争が激化しているiPS細胞等を用いた再生医療について、日本のアドバンテージを活かし、世界に先駆けて臨床応用をするべく研究開発を加速するとともに、日本のiPS細胞関連産業（再生医療・創薬、細胞製造、装置、培地など）の育成に資することを期待するプログラムだ。2012年度補正予算と2013年度政府予算の成立を前提としている。2012年度補正予算を財源として別途、事業の遂行に必要な設備の整備を行う。

▼絶滅危惧種に指定されたのでウナギの名前がニュースで連呼された。「ウナギ」と聞いて頭に浮かぶのは、にょろにょろのあれよりもまず先に蒲焼きだ。「ウナギ」と聞くと食い物だと思ってしまう。でもここで天然ウナギの漁獲を制限しないと養殖種苗のシラスウナギも増えないし、本当にウナギが食べられなくなる。
▼ウナギの本は塚本先生がいろいろ書いてるけど、この本が入手しやすく、おすすめもしやすい。
