米Washington大、東大他、世界の疾病負担研究2010の成果をLancet誌に7報論文発表

日本からは東京大学大学院医学系研究科国際保健政策学専攻分野の渋谷健司教授らが参加している「世界の疾病負担研究、GBD 2010」（Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study）は、過去最大規模の健康調査の成果を英Lancet誌2012年12月15日号に発表した。従来にない量・種類のデータを収集して包括的で多面的な新手法で分析した研究成果を7本の論文にまとめた。この成果は、英国ロンドンの王立協会で12月14日に発表された。Lancet誌では、史上初めて、この研究成果のみで3つの号の全ての誌面を割いた。GBD 2010は次の7機関の共同研究として07年に始まった。米University of Washington保健指標・保健評価研究所（IHME）と東大、豪The University of Queensland、米Harvard University公衆衛生大学院、米Johns Hopkins Universityブルームバーグ公衆衛生大学院、英Imperial College、世界保健機関（WHO）の7機関だ。

Tweet ▼池袋のサンシャインシティに行ってみたら、「 SunshineCity×KONICA MINOLTA AQUA STAR TREE 」なる水を使ったツリー演出が行われていた。上から落ちてくる水で模様や文字を描いたりする。理屈は単純だが、よくこんな制御できるなあと思って感心してしまった。こういう演出をしようと最初に思った人がえらい。
