英国航空（British Airways）は2012年11月30日、米Solena Fuels社と共に推進している持続可能なジェット燃料を生産するというGreenSky Londonイニシアチブがテクノロジーパートナーも確定し発進することになったと発表した。

DuPont社、セルロースエタノールの商業生産施設の建設を米アイオワ州で開始

米DuPont社は2012年11月30日、米アイオワ州Nevadaでセルロースエタノール生産施設の起工式を執り行い、先進バイオ燃料の商業化に向け一歩前進したと発表した。この生産施設は2014年中頃に完成する予定で、総工費は2億ドルを超えるという。セルロースエタノールの生産能力は年産3000万ガロンを予定し、世界最初で最大級の商業規模セルロースバイオリファイナリーの1つとなる。DuPont社はこのバイオリファイナリー全てをカバーする統合システムをライセンスしてゆくことにしている。
