米OpGen社は2012年12月23日、中国BGI-Shenzhenと中国科学院昆明動物研究所による家畜ヤギの初となる高品質リファレンスゲノムの作成プロジェクトにおいて、同社の「ARGUS」全ゲノムマッピング・システムが次世代シーケンシング（NGS）と組み合わせて用いられたと発表した。研究詳細は、Nature Biotechnology誌電子版で報告された。

文部科学省の世界トップレベル研究拠点プログラム（WPI）に採択された筑波大学の国際統合睡眠医科学研究機構（IIIS、International Institute for Integrative Sleep Medicine）を、筑波大が2012年12月1日に設置した。拠点長を務める柳沢正史・筑波大医学医療系教授の下、睡眠研究に関わる国内外の有力研究者が集結する。同機構では睡眠のメカニズムの基礎的解明から、睡眠医学へのトランスレーショナルリサーチまでを目指す。サテライトは米University of Texasと秋田大学に設置し、理化学研究所とも連携する。まずは10人近くのPI（Principal Investigator）で活動を開始する。

チューリッヒ工科大学 Autonomous System Lab が公開した動画です。
一球ロボの「Rezero」がプレゼントを載せて運び、小型ヘリロボットが空中を運搬。そして不整地も歩ける４足歩行ロボット「StarlETH」が子供たちのところに届けるというシナリオです。
よくできてる雰囲気の良い動画です。
最後に、撮影の様子が分かるNG集も付いてるのが良いですね。
