英Heptares Therapeutics 社は2012年9月10日、StaR技術を使って、Gたんぱく質共役型受容体(GPCR)ファミリーBサブクラスの構造を初めて独自に解明したと発表した。同社の最高科学責任者をつとめるFiona Marshall博士および、最高経営責任者を務めるMalcolm Weir氏は、近く行われる関連学会で、コルチコトロピン放出因子(CRF-1) 受容体の高精細のX線結晶構造を発表する。加えて、その他の社内で解析したGPCR構造体およびHeptares社の開発パイプラインに関する情報も提供する。
