日経バイオテク7月30日号「編集長の目」、先進医療と高度医療の制度一本化の行方

厚生労働省は先進医療と高度医療の制度を一本化するために、医政局長、保険局長、医薬食品局長の連名の通知を7月中にも発出する。従来、保険外の医療行為を保険との併用で実施する場合、未承認の医薬品・医療機器を使う場合は高度医療、使わないで新しい医療技術として実施する場合は先進医療と、似て非なる制度で運用してきたが、制度が複雑で効率的でないなどの問題があったことから、両制度を一本化することになった。

大阪府立大学大学院工学研究科の河野健司教授は2012年7月26日に開催された第28回近畿バイオインダストリー振興会議・技術シーズ公開会で、機能性リポソーム、特に、細胞内デリバリーシステムとしての優れた性能を有する高感度型pH応答性リポソームについて、その抗原デリバリーワクチンとしての応用を中心に発表した。

未承認薬等検討会議、新規に8件の開発必要性認める

厚生労働省の「医療上の必要性の高い未承認薬・適応外薬検討会議」は2012年7月30日、第12回会合を開催した。第2回目開発要望のあった290件のうち、新規に8件（適応外薬7件、未承認薬1件）について専門作業班（WG）の評価結果報告を受け、医療上の必要性が高いと判断した。今後、厚労省は該当製薬企業に開発要請を行う。
