医薬品医療機器総合機構（PMDA）で医療機器・診断薬の審査を担当している重藤和弘審議役（写真）は2012年7月17日、ゲノム創薬フォーラム主催のセミナー「コンパニオン診断薬の最前線」で講演した。この中で重藤審議役は、コンパニオン診断薬の開発手法や審査の在り方についてのガイダンスを日本でも整備することの必要性を指摘した。
