オランダがん研究所のSabine Linn博士らは、乳がん標本を対象にマイクロアレイを用いて70の遺伝子の発現を分析し、得られるシグネチャを指標として術後補助療法の必要性を判断する方法の有用性を調べた臨床試験の追跡データを第8回欧州乳がん会議(EBCC-8)で2012年3月22日に口頭発表した。
