▼豊洲。芝浦工大へ。初めて行ったが、ずいぶん綺麗なキャンパスと建物だった。豊洲のららぽーとのあたりはIHIの敷地だったところだが、芝浦工大・豊洲キャンパスも、もともとIHIの敷地だったそうだ。
▼日本ロボット学会学術講演会「震災対応ロボティクス・シンポジウム」を聞く。思っていたよりも人が少なかった。直接、このシンポジウムの内容を記事として書く予定は今のところなし。
▼いろいろ難しいな、と。ちょっとでも良い方向へ動くといいのだが。

Tweet ▼台風12号の被害が明らかになるにつれ、大き過ぎる被害に言葉がない。しかもこれらの被害は、突然起きたものではない。地滑り地形の土地に３０日から雨が降り続いていても避難勧告が出せないとは。事が起きたときに力を発揮すべきは行政しかないと思うのだが。正解がはっきり分かっていれば誰でも判断できる。だが正解が分からない問題に対して、間違うリスクをとって判断することが行政や政治の仕事であるはずだ。研究の類は、災害が起こる前は役に立つかもしれないが、起きてしまえば無力だ。
▼ああ、もちろん現場の人たちもそんなことは分かっているのだろう。分かっていたが何もできなかったのだろう。それも分かる。分かるだけに苦しい。
▼本棚から探している本を探し出すのに２時間もかかった。もっと広い本棚が欲しい。せめていまの３倍は欲しいところだが、それは夢のまた夢か。
