Tweet ▼夕方からまたホテルニューオータニへ。iRobot社コリン・アングル氏にごく短いインタビュー。そのあと講演を聞く。講演内容はだいたい昨年と同じ。違うのは福島第一原発の話と、執事ロボットの話、あとソフトロボットの話くらい。結局、肝心なところはいつものぼかしトークで全然分からなかった。いつかじっくり話を聞いてみたい気もするが。取りあえず、彼の立場からの視点だけでもいいので、自伝的な本でも出してくれないかな。
▼それにしても、なぜそんなにテレプレゼンス系のロボットがみんなそんなに好きなんだろう。成功しそうに思える根拠も全然わからんのだが。
▼夜になって、アマゾンがタブレットを発表。Android端末である「Kindle fire」が199ドル。安い。「Kindle touch」みたいに３Gはつかないみたいだけど。
▼おまけに軽い。 「Kindle fire」は413グラムだが、「kindle touch」は213グラム、4代目のkindleは170グラム。なんだこれ。もはや文庫本である。
▼これに対して他の会社がどう動くかが見物だし、期待だ。しかし、この価格に対抗できるところは、なかなか少ないんじゃないか。カメラを外して廉価にと書いてある新聞もあっ ...
