Tweet 日経サイエンス 2010年 01月号 [雑誌] posted with amazlet at 11.08.17 日本経済新聞出版社 Amazon.co.jp で詳細を見る 日経サイエンス2010年1月号 書評欄 「森山和道の読書日記」掲載 　脳画像を使って心の働きを探る研究者が「脳科学ブーム」を検証した本が 『 脳科学の真実 』 だ。脳科学風の言葉を使って従来のハウツーに有り難みを持たせるマスコミ的脳科学を批判する、ただそれだけの本ではない。著者の批判的視線は、受け手側の一般人や「脳ブーム」に乗っかる脳研究業界だけでなく、研究という営みの本質的な部分にも向けられている。ここが面白い。 　研究費を取り巻く問題や研究発表のあり方など、本書で取り上げられている問題点のなかには、当事者である研究者たち自身は実際にはあまり自覚的でない部分も少なくない。著者は「脳科学風造語」と脳研究で使われる造語の区別は実はそれほど簡単ではないし、両者の距離はそう遠くないと指摘する。色々と考えさせられるし、著者の筆致も好感が持てる。多くの人に読んでもらいたい一冊である。 脳科学の真実–脳研究者は何を考えているか ( ...
