Tweet ▼台風12号の被害が明らかになるにつれ、大き過ぎる被害に言葉がない。しかもこれらの被害は、突然起きたものではない。地滑り地形の土地に３０日から雨が降り続いていても避難勧告が出せないとは。事が起きたときに力を発揮すべきは行政しかないと思うのだが。正解がはっきり分かっていれば誰でも判断できる。だが正解が分からない問題に対して、間違うリスクをとって判断することが行政や政治の仕事であるはずだ。研究の類は、災害が起こる前は役に立つかもしれないが、起きてしまえば無力だ。 ▼ああ、もちろん現場の人たちもそんなことは分かっているのだろう。分かっていたが何もできなかったのだろう。それも分かる。分かるだけに苦しい。 ▼本棚から探している本を探し出すのに２時間もかかった。もっと広い本棚が欲しい。せめていまの３倍は欲しいところだが、それは夢のまた夢か。 ▼ただ、こうやって物理的な本を積んだり積み直したりするのも利点はある。その一つは意外な本を自分の本棚から見つけ直すこと。今日は１０年ほど前に出た『 神の火はいま 原発先進地・福井30年 』（中日新聞福井支社、日刊県民福井／中日新聞）を見つけて、また読んでし ...
