▼帰宅してメールチェックしていたらチャットで、福島第一原発の事故対策統合本部の会見にて日本のロボット投入の予定が東電から発表されたとの話。ただし時期は変わらず未定。

操作車は 日本原子力研究開発機構 が開発した。貨物室の後部に放射線の一種（ガンマ線）を捉えるカメラを備え付け、強い放射線を出している物質ががれきなどに紛れ込んでいても、その場所や強さを、最大１００メートルの距離から色分けして可視化できる。貨物室は放射線を遮る特殊な布で覆われ、内部の作業者の被ばくを９割抑えられる。現在は作業員が被ばく線量を管理しながら測定している。
放射線源を発見すると、線量計を備えた米キネティック社の軍事ロボット「タロン」が操作車から出動。対象に接近し、線量を測る。ＧＰＳ（全地球測位システム）機能を搭載しているため、測定値と位置を地図に明示できる。このシステムの導入により、施設内のどこ ...
