[39: クマムシの耐性遺伝子の他の生物への導入の可能性 ]
○あと、たぶん素朴に考えられるのは、クマムシのDNAをほかの生き物にぶち込んでやって、耐性を持つようになるのかという見方もあると思うんですけど、そういう可能性はどうなんですか。
■遺伝子を導入してということですよね。
○はい。センチュウとかに。
■ええ。いきなり完全にというのは無理だと思うので、耐性に関係がありそうなのをちょっとずつ足していくと、そういうことがあるのかなと思っています。
○はい。そういうのはどうなのかと。
■ただ、あの耐性が1つの遺伝子で付与できるとは、とてもじゃないけど思えない。なので、どういう遺伝子を入れたらいいのかをピックアップしないといけないんでしょうね。
いきなり遺伝子の組み合わせを、iPS細胞みたいに「この4つ！」とかいうふうに決めるのは無理なので（笑）。
